Congratulations Bernadette! August’s HCA of the Month

This is following some fantastic feedback from the Scotland team:

“Bernadette is a fantastic worker who travels 204 miles to support a client with profound and multiple learning disabilities in a remote location. She even offered to give the client’s family respite during a hospital admission. Her contribution has been invaluable to the client, their family, and the Guild.”

We caught up with Bernadette to see how she feels about being our HCA of the Month.

How long have you been working with the Guild?

“I have worked with the Guild since April 2022.”

What do you enjoy most about your job?

“Mostly, I enjoy having the opportunity to develop further in a role I love.”

What attracted you to join the Guild?

“Two of my good friends suggested I join, knowing it would be something I would enjoy. The flexibility & the variation of the work would suit me.”

How do you feel about being our HCA of the Month?

“I’m chuffed to bits being nominated for HCA of the month.”

Thank you Bernadette and congratulations! You deserve it!
