This is following some fantastic feedback from a client about Eve:
“I was co-ordinating a busy area of the department, with Eve as my support nurse, and I have to say that she was really excellent and professional to work with. She didn’t require any prompting to complete tasks, she recognised patient deterioration (and we had some very sick patients that day) and her person-centred care and communication were top notch. I was speaking with the senior charge nurses and we would always have Eve back in a heartbeat to work in the department, as her skills, high quality care and compassion are really what we need in such a busy environment.”
We caught up with Eve to see how she feels about being our Nurse of the Month.
“I joined the Guild full-time 4 months ago after relocating to Scotland.”
“I love working with people and being able to make a difference in patients’ hospital experiences. I particularly enjoy the variety in nursing, and the daily challenges that continuously push me to learn more and improve my practice. “
“I was attracted to the Guild by the possibility of an improved work-life balance and to have the opportunity to gain new experiences in a variety of hospitals/teams. It is a privilege to be able to work for the Guild in this capacity.”
“I’m thrilled and honoured to be nominated as Nurse of the month. It is so encouraging and rewarding to hear I am making a difference, not only for my patients but also for the hospitals and wonderful teams I work alongside. Thank you!”
Thank you Eve and congratulations! You deserve it!
