Congratulations Linda! July’s Nurse of the Month

This is following some fantastic feedback from the Belfast team:

“Linda gave up her time to support a service user being able to go on holiday. Linda is flexible, always supports last-minute changes in this package and is professional and caring.”

We caught up with Linda to see how she feels about being our Nurse of the Month.

How long have you been working with the Guild?

“I’ve been working for the Scottish Nursing Guild for 3 years.”

What do you enjoy most about your job?

“I love working for the Guild. The Belfast team are very supportive and there’s always a friendly voice at the end of the phone, no matter what time of day I call. I feel valued as an employee and with their help, privileged that I can make a positive difference to the lives of the service user and their family.”

What attracted you to join the Guild?

“I heard about the Guild from a friend and when I looked at the website, I was attracted by the flexibility it would give me to work either days or nights, a very generous hourly pay rate, and support in updating my training as required. I felt it was a very respected agency by those using its services.”

How do you feel about being our Nurse of the Month?

“I’m delighted to be nominated as Nurse of the Month and very grateful for the kind feedback from the Guild.”

Thank you Linda and congratulations! You deserve it!
