We caught up with Sian to see how she feels about being our Nurse of the Month.
I joined the Guild in 2019 and have just recently gone full time with them since December 2021. It has truly been the best decision I have ever made. The team in Belfast have been so helpful and supportive, nothing is ever an issue.
I enjoy the diversity – no two days are the same. One day you could be working on a busy medical ward, the next in a busy treatment room. I love that there is always an opportunity for something new to learn and daily challenges. I also love that I’m now able to have a better work-life balance and work shifts that suit me in areas that I enjoy.
I joined the Guild to enhance my nursing skills working across different specialties and trusts, and to grow as a practitioner. Also, for the brilliant pay rates and fantastic incentives that they offer.
I’m delighted to be Nurse of the Month, it’s such an honour to have been selected. I genuinely love being a nurse so I’m really proud that I’ve got recognition for my hard work.
