About the opportunity

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Recruitment Coordinator to join our friendly team in Edinburgh. Your role will be to recruit and onboard registered nurses and healthcare assistants for the organisation, supplying staff to our clients which include the NHS.

What you will be doing

  • Input and update information accurately on candidates computer records
  • To select nurses and health care assistants solely based on competence and suitability for the job role including vetting and application reviews
  • To manage your own pipeline of candidates ensuring priorities are always met
  • Manage the administration and compliance of nurse files complying with employment legislation
  • Review activities to ensure recruitment contributes to meeting business goals
  • Identify actual and potential barriers that may interfere with the progress of individual recruitment files
  • Awareness of unfilled shifts and how to target appropriate candidates effectively

We believe to be successful within this role, you will need to have:

  • Strong customer service experience
  • Experience in a call centre
  • Previous recruitment experience is desirable
  • Ability to plan and prioritise workload
  • Excellent telephone manner and written communication skills
  • Computer literate
