Scotland community services

Home > Clients > Specialist Services > Community > Scotland community services

Across the UK our specialist nurses and carers look after adults and children in their own homes and in the community. We work with NHS, local authorities, health boards, case managers and solicitors, as well as directly with many private clients. We’re here 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Two types of care package

Staffing

We provide a temporary general/specialist nurse or healthcare assistant to support gaps in rotas, cover annual leave or to support failing packages.

Case managed

We take full responsibility for an agreed part of the care package, or every aspect of it. This can include compiling individualised care plans and risk assessments, with ongoing support from the case manager, who is a registered nurse.

We provide care for as long as you need us, whether for a few hours or 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our nurses and healthcare assistants have experience with a wide range of conditions and complex care requirements including:

  • Spinal injuries
  • Airway management (including tracheostomies)
  • Ventilatory support
  • Nutritional support
  • Wound management
  • Continence management (Including catheters and bowel management)
  • Central lines
  • Complex medication regimes
  • Seizure management
  • Palliative/end of life care
  • Respite care
  • Challenging behaviour
  • Autism and learning disabilities
  • Brain injuries
  • Personal care

Don’t just take our word for it. Here’s what our clients say about us.
