We work with various departments within local authority teams throughout Scotland and can tailor our service to suit each department’s needs. We can provide care from four hours through to 24 hr care, seven days per week for as long as you need until another care solution is found.

We can provide interim staffing solutions or case managed packages of care, working closely with social workers in various departments, including the following areas:

  • Crisis management
  • Children and families
  • Children with disabilities
  • Looked after children
  • Transition from children to adult services
  • Complex care for children and adults
  • Younger adults
  • Autism / learning disability
  • Mental health and CAMHS
  • Criminal justice
  • Adult services
  • Facilitating hospital discharge
  • Community/district nursing
  • Older people’s services
  • Reablement
  • Palliative/end of life care
  • Domiciliary care

At SNG, we have a reputation for managing very challenging and complex requirements with only a few hours’ notice. We can offer a short-term provision in the event of a crisis or breakdown in care, but we can also help with mid to longer-term requirements too.

If your framework or regular providers are unable to help, or if you have a complex or challenging case, then we are the provider to call. We can be there when no one else can.

Case study

A child with learning difficulties was cared for full-time by their mother. Unfortunately, their mother was suddenly taken ill and required hospital admission. We were contacted by their local authority and were able to quickly establish the child’s needs and send a suitable care team over on the same day to care for the child until their mother was discharged.
