We need advanced nurse practitioners (ANPs) for temporary, last-minute placements across Scotland. ANPs can access work in a variety of settings such as A&E units, out of hour’s services, GP Practices, Health & Urgent Care Centres, as well as Primary Care Providers.

Evidenced completion of V300 prescribing course
Evidence of Masters (MSc) in Advanced Clinical Practice
A minimum of 2.5 years’ experience as an ANP in the last 3 years
5 years' post-registration experience, including two years working at a senior level
Must be able to work weekday shifts
The ability to provide medical rota cover, hold the emergency bleep and participate in clinical ward rounds (for hospital ward work only)
The ability to independently assess, diagnose, treat and refer patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed illness and minor injury
A willingness to work to our company expectations

The Scottish Nursing Guild is an ANP nursing agency operating in Scotland, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. The ANP jobs we have available can often be in remote locations which is why last-minute cover is sometimes needed. However, all travel costs are imbursed should you decide to take these types of shifts.
