Summary

We need healthcare assistants (HCAs) for temporary, last minute placements across Scotland, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. Guild HCAs can access work in NHS, HSE and private hospitals. You’ll need to work to our high standards and in return you’ll receive full professional support from us.

Requirements

A minimum of 6 months experience in the last 2 years, working on medical or surgical wards

Evidenced completion of the Care Certificate or NVQ / BTEC is desirable

The ability to take and record vital signs and use an Early Warning System (NEWS /PARS) for reporting patient deterioration

A willingness to work to our company expectations

Must be registered with the SSSC (Scotland) and NISCC (Northern Ireland) to work in nursing home & community settings
