Summary

We need Home Care Support Workers (HCSWs) for temporary, last-minute placements across Scotland and Northern Ireland (NI).  Guild HCSWs can work in Domiciliary Care settings to support individuals in their own homes or other supported living settings, helping to promote the individual’s independence.  You’ll need to work to our high standards and in return, you’ll receive full professional support from us.

Requirements

A minimum of 6 months experience in the last 2 years working in a Domiciliary Care or other relevant support setting

Must be registered with the SSSC (Scotland) or NISCC (Northern Ireland) to work in Care at Home / Community settings

Evidenced commencement/completion of the relevant SVQ qualification for SSSC is desirable (Scotland only)

Must be able to provide a reference from a manager or supervisor on the SSSC (Scotland) or NISCC (NI) register

Must have your own car and provide evidence of Business Car Insurance

BLS and Manual Handling – must have completed a full practical course previously

A willingness to work to our company expectations
