Summary

We need school nurses for temporary, last minute placements across Scotland. Guild nurses can access work in public and private sector schools, universities, as well as supporting clients to live safely in their own homes. You’ll need to work to our high standards and in return you’ll receive full professional support from us.

Requirements

A valid NMC Pin

A willingness to work to our company expectations

To be focused on the promotion of health and well-being in school age children

Experience working with special education needs and physically disabled students

Evidence of professional development – e.g. Specialist Community Public Health: School Nurse (RSN)

Experience providing minor illness and minor injury cover, support for long-term conditions and complex care needs

Evidence completion of Child Protection Training (Level 3)

A minimum of 12 months experience in the last 18 months working in either public sector, private sector or boarding schools
